The Mission

Auto Guild provides expertly researched videos and eBooks that give enthusiasts the knowledge and confidence to build and modify their own vehicles.

I started Auto Guild as a YouTube channel while researching an LS swap for my 68 Camaro. I got frustrated having to find dozens of articles and videos just to get one small piece of information.

I wanted to create a one stop source for better information.

About Me

  • Start

    I'm Pete. I bought a 68 Camaro when I was 15.  It didn't run, we towed it home. I rebuilt the 327 in my garage when I was 16. This Camaro was my only car and daily driver for 9 years.

  • Journey

    I've been surrounded by cars my entire life.  Dad got me started, he used to work at BMW.  My neighbor was restoring two 66 GTOs when I was growing up, I was at his house every day after school.  I still have my Camaro. It needs a new engine, so I decided on a LS swap.

  • Today

    I now have over 20 years of product planning and research experience working for two automotive OEMs. This inspired me to create detailed helpful videos and eBooks.
